Maths Teacher - Full-Time, Long-Term Role
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Start Date: October Half Term 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Employer: Veritas Education (on behalf of a partner secondary school)
About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting from October Half Term 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Maths department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential. The school is seeking a teacher who can inspire a love of mathematics, build student confidence, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Support students in developing mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths
- Possesses excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Is committed to raising attainment and student achievement
- Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
