Veritas Education are working in partnership with a supportive and well-established secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Science Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic educator to join a strong department, with positions available for an immediate start or from September.
The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialism advantageous)
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
- Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science)
- Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
