Physics Teacher - Full-Time, Long-Term Role Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Employer: Veritas Education (on behalf of a partner secondary school)
About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a progressive and supportive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong science department and inspire students through high-quality Physics teaching, encouraging curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills
- Plan differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute to the wider Science department and school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a specialism in Physics or a related science discipline
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student success
