About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an engaging and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and deliver a stimulating curriculum that encourages critical thinking and an understanding of human behaviour, in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons (primarily KS5, KS4 desirable)
- Plan engaging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire students
- Assess and monitor student progress, ensuring strong academic outcomes
- Support students in developing analytical and evaluative skills
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a degree or specialism in Psychology or a related subject
- Experience teaching Psychology at secondary level (ECTs welcome)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
