Veritas Education is working in partnership with a range of high-quality secondary schools across Kirklees to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers across a variety of subject specialisms.
Whether you are seeking short-term supply, long-term placements, or a potential permanent opportunity, we are here to support you at every stage of your ECT journey.
The Role:
- Teaching your specialist subject at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on school)
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive and safe learning environment
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Working collaboratively with experienced colleagues and mentors
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
- ECTs passionate about teaching and making a difference
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills (or a willingness to develop these)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A professional, reflective, and positive attitude
