Veritas Education are working closely with a supportive secondary school in Kirklees to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork and student wellbeing through high-quality physical education.
The Role:
- Delivering PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning inclusive and engaging lessons that motivate all pupils
- Assessing and monitoring progress in line with national curriculum requirements
- Promoting positive behaviour and a healthy, active lifestyle
- Taking part in extracurricular sports and wider school activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisational skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Show enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude
