Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join one of our well-regarded secondary schools within the Kirklees area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is committed to raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that support learners of varying abilities. You will work collaboratively with the department to maintain strong standards of teaching and learning, contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting the progress of all learners in line with school and DfE expectations
- Planning, marking, and assessing in accordance with department policies
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour management
- Contributing to departmental development and wider school life
- Ensuring safeguarding and compliance procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A professional approach aligned with DfE and school policies
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
