Are you passionate about games design and committed to inclusive, creative education?We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Games Design Lead Tutor to join a specialist SEN setting dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with additional learning needs.
Gaming Design Tutor Role:* Deliver engaging, industry-focused lessons in Games Design and Digital Media to learners aged 16-19* Lead on curriculum planning and development in your subject area* Support students in working towards recognised qualifications (e.g., UAL, NCFE, or equivalent)* Differentiate your teaching to meet a range of learning needs, including those with SEN/SEMH* Use a trauma-informed and inclusive teaching approach* Support the growth of the digital department through collaborative and innovation* Keep up to date with developments in the gaming and digital media industries
Gaming Design Tutor Requirements:
- Have experience teaching Games Design, Digital Media, or related subjects (FE experience preferr
- Possess in-depth knowledge of tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, etc.
- We require a tutor with experience in 2D and 3D game production pipelines, understanding of underlying game design principles and a wider knowledge of the creative media production industries.
- Understand how to support students with SEN, SEMH, or those with EHCPs
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification or are willing to work towards one
- Are creative, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on student outcomes
