Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and making a positive impact in the classroom? Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Preston area.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Support teaching and learning across KS2 classes
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support
- Assist with small‑group interventions and one‑to‑one support
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in a school setting (KS2 preferred)
- Is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Has strong communication skills and can work well as part of a team
- Holds relevant childcare/teaching assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Has a current DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply for one
