EYFS Teacher (Phonics Focus)
Location: WF1, Wakefield
Daily Rate: £135-£185 (Experience Dependent)
Are you an experienced EYFS Teacher with a passion for teaching with a strong understanding of phonics? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join a diverse primary school supporting young learners in their early year's education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality Phonics education within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Creating engaging lesson plans and activities that promote language development and early literacy skills.
- Providing individualized support to students to ensure their progress in phonemic awareness and reading fluency.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.
- Managing challenging behaviours effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Early Years settings.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Phonics teaching methods, including experience with structured phonics programs.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours in a classroom setting.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
