The Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Islington seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school has a strong community ethos and is committed to ensuring every child receives a high-quality, well-rounded education.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities.
- Support pupils with additional needs (SEN) to access the curriculum and develop key skills.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and confidence in all learners.
- Contribute to a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience supporting children in a school setting.
- Confident supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
