Veritas Education are working with a friendly and inclusive one-form entry faith primary school in Islington, who are seeking an experienced and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team.

About the Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children in KS2 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges.
- Support pupils to engage positively in lessons, manage emotions, and develop resilience.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and pastoral team to implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
- Foster a calm, supportive classroom environment that reflects the school's caring Christian values.
- Track and report on pupil progress and contribute to review meetings as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience working in a school setting, ideally supporting pupils with SEN and behaviour needs.
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Is patient, compassionate, and resilient, with a genuine desire to help children thrive.
- Can work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and professional team.
- Is aligned with the ethos and values of a faith school community.
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) or has significant school-based experience.
