Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Dewsbury to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive department and make a real impact on students' learning and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and school events as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (or general Science)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Veritas)
