Full Time Science Technician
Secondary School, Redbridge
Starts ASAP
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm, £80 per day
We are currently working with a secondary school in Redbridge, who are looking for a Science Technician. This is a long term full time contract position through Veritas Education starting ASAP.
The duties of the successful Science Technician will be:
- Assisting with, and managing, the science equipment in the science department
- Comfortable with providing support in Biology, Chemistry and Physics areas
- Preparing equipment and aparatus before lessons in accordance to teacher requirements
You MUST have:
- Previous experience working with children in a school environment
- Previous science education i.e. degree in a related subject
- An Enhanced DBS on the online update service (this can be completed before your start date, but advised that you already have one)
- A passion for everything science!
- A bubbly and approachable personality
- Access to public transport/own transport
