Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Employer: Veritas Education (on behalf of a partner secondary school)
About the Role
Veritas Education is currently working with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a confident and adaptable Cover Teacher for an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, ECT, or experienced educator looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons using pre-planned materials
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensure students remain focused and engaged in their learning
- Adapt to different subjects and year groups where required
- Provide feedback to departments and school leaders following lessons
- Support the wider aims and ethos of the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
