The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support students both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning across a range of subjects.
  • Working with small groups and individual students to boost progress and attainment.
  • Assisting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting classroom management and student engagement.
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

    Experience
