Are you a dedicated Early Years Practitioner looking to join a nursery where your skills, enthusiasm, and commitment are truly valued?
We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a highly regarded nursery in the LS28 area of Leeds. With both full-time and part-time opportunities available, this role offers the chance to become part of a professional, supportive, and child-focused team within a well-established setting.
This nursery is known for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's development, creating engaging learning experiences, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Plan and implement engaging activities that inspire learning through play
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
- Build strong and positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive, and professional approach
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
