Nursery Assistant - Part-Time & Flexible Hours
Location: Leeds Organisation: Veritas Education
Are you looking for part-time work with flexible hours in Early Years?
Veritas Education is currently recruiting Nursery Assistants for welcoming nursery settings across the Leeds area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible work that fits around their availability. Whether you have previous nursery experience or experience working with children in another setting, we'd love to hear from you.
The role:
- Supporting nursery practitioners with the day-to-day care of children
- Helping with fun and engaging activities
- Supporting children's learning and development
- Creating a safe, caring and positive environment
- Helping with daily routines such as meals, tidy-up time and activities
- Building positive relationships with children and staff
- Following EYFS and safeguarding procedures
We're looking for:
- Previous childcare or nursery experience is preferred
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is welcomed but not essential
- A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with young children
