The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assessing, recording and reporting on student progress.
- Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement.
- Supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leaders.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students.
- The ability to inspire, motivate and engage learners.
