We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspire students of all abilities, and contribute to the wider sporting life of the school.
The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
- Promote health, fitness, teamwork, and personal development through sport.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards across the department.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for physical education.
- Can motivate and inspire students to develop confidence and achieve their best.
- Is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Enjoys contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
