Location: Stockton on Tees, North Yorkshire Contract: Long-term temporary Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week (term time only)
Pay: £100-£110 p/day Start: September
Veritas Education are working with a vibrant and successful mixed secondary school based in Stockton on Tees, who are seeking an experienced School Administrator & Receptionist to join their team ASAP.
About the Role
This is a key front-of-house position supporting a busy school reception desk. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a busy school reception desk
- Welcoming visitors, ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed
- Handling phone calls, emails and general enquiries
- Working closely with the admin and pastoral teams
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Experience working on a busy school reception desk
- Familiarity with the MIS (Management Information System) or Arbor would be highly advantageous here
- Strong people skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Confident working under pressure and managing competing priorities
- Ability to remain calm, professional and adaptable
