Location: West Yorkshire Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-Time, Temporary/Long-Term (with potential to become permanent) Start Date: September 2026
Maths Teacher Required
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics education and helping students achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that promote excellent progress.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and track student achievement, implementing strategies to support attainment.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and the Mathematics department.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
