PPA Cover Teacher - Key Stage 2

Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a PPA Cover Teacher to join a dedicated and supportive staff team within a well-respected primary school based in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

This is a full-time role, and the school is looking to appoint an experienced teacher who is confident delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will provide PPA cover throughout the week, teaching a range of year groups while ensuring continuity of learning, maintaining high expectations and building positive relationships with pupils across the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic practitioner who enjoys variety and is able to quickly establish positive classroom environments. The successful candidate will become a valued member of a collaborative staff team that works together to provide the very best outcomes for every child.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and learners.
  • Establish positive relationships quickly and maintain excellent classroom management.
  • Have high expectations for behaviour, achievement and pupil engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Be organised, flexible and confident working across multiple year groups.
