The Role
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the classroom.
- Work alongside teachers to support learning and student progress.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group intervention support.
- Assist pupils with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs where required.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create an engaging learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with students and support their personal and academic development.
Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a secondary school or with young people aged 11-16.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
- Confidence managing behaviour and supporting student engagement.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
