About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit an enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established science department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across the curriculum, in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialism welcomed)
- Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
- Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
- Demonstrates effective classroom management skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for all students
