About the Role
Veritas Education is working alongside a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a committed and engaging Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive humanities department and inspire students through the delivery of a thought-provoking and inclusive RE curriculum, in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and balanced RE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respect for diverse beliefs and cultures
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and ethos
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialises in Religious Education or a related humanities subject
- Has experience teaching RE within a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
