Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing Intervention Teacher on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a teacher passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping children reach their full potential through targeted intervention support.
The school is continuing to develop and expand its SEN and intervention provision, investing in additional support strategies and tailored learning approaches to ensure all pupils receive the support they need to succeed. The leadership team are committed to inclusion, staff wellbeing and providing a positive learning environment for both pupils and staff.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions across primary age ranges
- Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and support staff
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Demonstrate patience, flexibility and strong behaviour management skills
