Veritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for either an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high‑quality RE education and inspiring pupils to engage critically with ethical, moral and philosophical issues.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK‑recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching RE within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
