A specialist SEN provision in Bradford is seeking a caring, resilient, and highly dependable Complex SEN Teaching Assistant to work across multiple sites, supporting children with a wide range of additional needs. This role involves providing 1:1 support to pupils who require consistent, personalised care to access learning and daily routines.
???? What the Role Involves
- Delivering 1:1 support to pupils with complex learning, behavioural, communication, or medical needs.
- Supporting children with daily routines, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.
- Assisting with personalised learning activities, sensory programmes, and structured interventions.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists across different sites.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every child.
✔️ What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children with complex SEN on a 1:1 basis.
- A caring, empathetic, and patient personality, with a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
- Confidence in providing personal care, including toileting and hygiene support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Flexibility to work across multiple SEN sites within Bradford.
- A proactive, calm, and adaptable approach to challenging situations.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
