Behaviour Support Worker - Bradford
Veritas Education
Veritas Education are working with a partner secondary school in the Bradford area who are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker on a full‑time, long‑term basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs, building positive relationships, and helping students re-engage with learning. The role involves working closely with the pastoral and SEN teams to ensure pupils receive consistent support throughout the school day.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering targeted interventions and 1:1 mentoring
- Working alongside the pastoral and safeguarding teams
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Helping pupils regulate and positively engage with lessons
- Providing support both in and out of the classroom
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people with behavioural, SEMH, or pastoral needs
- Confidence managing behaviour and building rapport quickly
- A calm, resilient and supportive approach
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
