Early Years Opportunities - Flexible Work in Leeds Organisation: Veritas Education Location: Leeds
Looking for flexible work in early years that fits around your lifestyle? Veritas Education is supporting a welcoming nursery in Leeds that offers a relaxed, nature-focused environment where you can pick up work in a way that suits you.
Whether you're after consistent hours, a few days a week, or occasional shifts, this opportunity gives you the freedom to choose when you work while still being part of a caring and supportive setting.
This nursery embraces outdoor learning, fresh air, and a healthy, balanced approach to childcare. Children spend plenty of time exploring outside, staying active, and learning about the world around them, with a strong focus on wellbeing, nature, and positive routines.
As part of the team, you'll help create a warm and engaging space where children feel safe, curious, and supported. You might be getting involved in outdoor play, encouraging creativity, or simply helping maintain a calm and happy environment throughout the day.
This could suit qualified practitioners or those with hands-on childcare experience who are looking for something more flexible. It's also a great option if you're returning to the sector or want to keep your experience fresh without committing to a fixed schedule.
What we're looking for
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or relevant childcare experience
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with children
- Confidence supporting outdoor play and nature-based activities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A genuine interest in supporting children's wellbeing and development
- Basic understanding of safeguarding and early years practice, or willingness to learn
In return, you'll benefit from flexible working patterns, competitive pay, and the chance to work in a setting that values fresh air, healthy lifestyles, and a nurturing approach to early years development. You'll also be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team who genuinely care about the children and each other.
If you're looking for a role that gives you freedom, variety, and the chance to make a difference in a positive outdoor-focused environment, get in touch to find out more at BHeacock@veritas-education.com
