Maths Teacher - Rochdale Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP Contract: Until the End of the Academic Term Location: Rochdale Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled practitioner to join our team in Rochdale as soon as possible, teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths until the end of the academic year.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging and impactful Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupil work in line with departmental expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports progress for all students
- Contribute to the wider school community and support the Maths department
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds QTS or QTLS (or is an ECT with strong subject knowledge)
- Has a proven ability to inspire and motivate learners
- Possesses strong classroom management skills
- Is committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil success
- Can start immediately and commit to the role for the remainder of the academic term
