Veritas Education is working closely with a welcoming and forward‑thinking secondary school in the Kirklees area who are seeking a dedicated Part‑Time Science Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about delivering high‑quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and well‑structured Science lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess work to support pupil progress
- Teach across KS3 and KS4, with specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team
- Uphold the professional standards set by the Department for Education (DfE)
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Science
- A commitment to supporting pupil achievement and well‑being
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive classroom presence
