Specialist Teaching Assistant

Location: Middlesbrough Pay: £90-£105 per day Roles available: Full‑time & ad-hoc daily supply

Are you passionate about supporting autistic children and young people to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially? We're recruiting Specialist Teaching Assistants for an exceptional all‑through autism‑specific school in Middlesbrough.

About the Role

You will:

  • Support students across primary, secondary and post‑16 phases.
  • Assist with communication, regulation and learning using autism‑specific strategies.
  • Help create nurturing and autism‑aware learning environments.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated, supportive staff team.

  • Experience supporting children or young people with autism (desired)
