Supply Teacher - Primary School Location: North Redbridge
Veritas Education is currently recruiting a qualified and experienced Supply Teacher to work in a welcoming 3-4 form entry primary school based in North Redbridge. The school is a friendly, inclusive, and well-organised setting that places children at the centre of everything it does, with a strong focus on high-quality teaching and pupil wellbeing.
From Early Years through to Key Stage 2, the school maintains high expectations for both attainment and behaviour. Supply teachers are expected to integrate smoothly into the established staff team, deliver engaging lessons, and ensure consistency in learning. Staff work collaboratively and take pride in creating an environment where pupils feel happy, safe, and motivated to succeed.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with QTS (essential) who is confident teaching across the primary age range and is seeking supply work within one consistent school setting, rather than moving between multiple schools.
The role:
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task. You will follow school policies and provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each day. Strong behaviour management, flexibility, and professionalism are essential.
Teaching may be across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on school need and your experience and preferences.
Supply Teacher responsibilities:
- Delivering lessons in line with school planning * Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning * Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom * Supporting pupils' academic and personal development * Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff * Adapting to different year groups within the same school
The school offers:
A supportive and well-structured 3-4 form entry primary school with strong leadership, positive behaviour, and well-resourced classrooms. Staff describe the school as an excellent place to work, with pupils who are enthusiastic and eager to learn. Lessons are pre-planned and no marking is required, making this the perfect opportunity for teachers looking to reduce workload while remaining in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential * Experience teaching within a UK primary school * Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum * Confident classroom and behaviour management * A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a consistent, well-regarded primary school in North Redbridge, while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.
