A high-performing mainstream secondary school in Brent is seeking an enthusiastic and driven History Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their successful Humanities department. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who loves History, enjoys working with young people, and is considering a future career in teaching or education.
The Role
As a History Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students in KS3-KS4 History lessons
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to help students engage with historical sources, extended writing and exam skills
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom activities
- Lead revision sessions and support pupils of mixed abilities
- Gain valuable classroom management experience in a welcoming environment

- Recent History graduates (or with a related Humanities or English degree)
- Passionate about education, with strong communication and writing skills
