Veritas Education is working with a supportive and inclusive 2 form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role is ideal for a confident SEN TA with proven experience supporting pupils with additional needs in a busy primary school environment.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with special educational needs across the classroom
Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group support where required
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD and other additional needs
Helping to create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous SEN TA experience is essential
Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally a 2 form entry school
Strong behaviour management and positive support strategies
Patient, resilient and proactive
Able to work effectively as part of a team
