KS1 Class Teacher Location: Islington, North London Agency: Veritas Education Role Type: Full-time, long-term Start Date: ASAP / Next available start
Veritas Education is working with a well-regarded primary school in Islington to recruit an experienced KS1 Teacher. This role is suitable for a confident practitioner who can take full responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class and contribute positively to the wider school team.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, and this role is not suitable for ECTs.
The Role:
Full class teaching responsibility within Key Stage 1
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Working closely with year group partners, support staff and leadership
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has previous KS1 teaching experience
Confident managing a class independently
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
Professional, reliable and committed
