Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster a love for English language and literature.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE level).
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
