Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Kirklees area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4, delivering high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and whole-school initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising attainment and fostering a love of learning.
