Veritas Education is working on behalf of a well-regarded and supportive 2 form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher for a Year 4 class. This position is ideal for a confident and established teacher and is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The Role:
- Full class responsibility for a Year 4 cohort
- Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Managing a class with low SEN, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Using effective assessment strategies to track progress and inform planning
- Working collaboratively with the parallel Year 4 teacher and wider KS2 team
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS and have proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4
- Be confident in classroom and behaviour management
- Have strong curriculum knowledge and high standards for pupil achievement
- Be reflective, organised, and proactive
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have post-ECT experience (essential)
