Your Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all learners.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that inspires children to reach their potential.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining high expectations, and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborating with school staff, including teaching assistants and senior leadership, to support pupil progress.
- Differentiating lessons to accommodate students with varying abilities and learning needs, including experience in teaching phonics and early reading skills.
- Adapting to different school cultures and developing lasting relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools, with a particular focus on Key Stage 1 and phonics instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- A genuine passion for making a difference in children's education and development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
