Location: Bolton Salary: MPS Contract: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking primary school team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring every child achieves their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Implement effective strategies for phonics, early literacy, and numeracy.
  • Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment, adapting teaching for pupils with SEND and varying abilities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and professional development.
  • Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Desirable Experience

  • Previous KS1 or EYFS teaching experience.
  • Knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics programs.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND and implementing EHCP strategies.
  • Familiarity with KS1 SATs and assessment frameworks.

    Experience
