About the Role Veritas Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA2) with SEN experience to join a supportive school team in Morecambe. This unique role combines classroom support with welfare responsibilities, ensuring pupils receive both academic and pastoral care. The position will supporting in either Year 1, 2 or 3. Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Offer 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Support pupils' welfare needs during designated hours.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements- Previous experience working with SEN pupils.
- TA Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
