Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and skilled technicians to support science departments in secondary schools across West Yorkshire on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
- Support teachers and students during experiments.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in the lab.
- Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and workspaces.
- Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a science technician is essential.
- Ideally, experience working in a school environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a lab setting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
