Veritas Education is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work exclusively in secondary schools across Leeds, starting this November. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to contribute to student learning while gaining valuable classroom experience.
Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of teaching staff, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged and focused. You'll work across a range of subjects and year groups, providing essential support to schools throughout Leeds.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Flexible, reliable, and confident in a school setting
- A genuine interest in education and student development

- Experience
- 3 Months Experience cover teaching in UK classrooms minimum. Classroom management and behaviour management experience. Understanding of school systems such as Simms and Arbor.
- Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level minimum. Preferably educated to degree level with a specialism.
