Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills and a background in supporting pupils within a classroom setting?
Veritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington, currently seeking a confident and committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3/4 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils in a mixed Year 3/4 class
- Working closely with the class teacher to implement lesson plans and behaviour strategies
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed
- Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Managing behaviour in line with the school's policy
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous classroom experience (essential)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confident, proactive, and able to build rapport with pupils and staff
- Reliable and committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
This is a full-time position, and the school is looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will become a valued part of a supportive and collaborative staff team.
