Location: Various Primary Schools in Leeds Contract Type: [Full-time / Part-time / Fixed Term / Permanent] Salary: £90-£110 per day Start Date: ASAP or after October half term
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping every child thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment?
We are currently recruiting SEN Support Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in Leeds, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
???? Role Overview:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of personalised learning and behaviour plans.
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and engagement in learning.
- Support inclusive practices within the classroom and wider school environment.
???? We're Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have experience working with children, ideally in an educational or SEN setting.
- Are patient, empathetic, and resilient.
- Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
- Are confident using a range of behaviour and learning support strategies.
- Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
