Are you passionate about inclusive education and supporting children to thrive in a nurturing environment?
We are seeking a committed and empathetic Inclusion Support Worker to join one of our vibrant primary schools in South Leeds, working specifically within Key Stage 2. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, to access learning and feel valued within the school community.
???? Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of needs.
- Implement personalised strategies to promote engagement, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to support inclusive learning.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for all learners.
- Monitor progress and contribute to pupil support plans and reviews.
???? Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly KS2.
- Understanding of inclusive practices and SEN support strategies.
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development (desirable).
