What We're Looking For
We're seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager with proven leadership experience in early years settings. You'll be a confident team player, passionate about child development, safeguarding, and staff mentoring. You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, uphold high standards of care, and inspire our team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in all operational aspects
Lead and motivate a team of Early Years Practitioners
Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding regulations
Foster a child-led, play-based learning environment
Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
Promote a culture of continuous professional development
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a nursery setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Passion for natural play, outdoor learning, and child-led education
